Looking for a moderate introduction to Moab for a 04' Disco with 3" lift, sliders, diff lock, front protection w/winch, front and rear diff pro, and a Bill Burke DVD.....any suggestions??? I'll be there mainly for the mountain biking but it would be a crime to not try a few in the disco....Thanks

Hells revenge!, and fins and things are some great starters, you will enjoy them, plus they both are right in range of the slickrock bike trail! when you gonna be there?

Down by the big rock
The biggest issue you will experience with your D2 is the rear bumper. It will be banged, scrapped, tweaked, etc. So take it slow over the big drop-offs. On a good note, Your set-up with spotting will work fine on Steel Bender.

With your set up I'd also go do Gold Bar Rim and Poison Spider if you have the time. Fins & Things will probably bore you so try it first. I took my stock DII on it and dragged the rear receiver hitch on just about every dropoff and incline. Was fun though.

thanks guys for the input...these seem to be the ones I keep coming up with. Heading out there this Sat and expect to arrive in the early eve. Will probably spend the first 2 days on the bike then a good trail every other day. Departing on the 28th!! If I leave the rear bumper/hitch there it'll give me a bigger excuse to upgrade to Greg's!!!

That was my intro to Moab.
Did the 24 hr MTB race and spent a week after.
Biking mornings and wheeling afternoons.
Incredible.
All trails are multi use so you can do the same stuff on bike and Rover.
It's funny to see sections where both bikers and wheelers sit amazed, watching each other.
Each group saying, "No way a bike/Rover can get up that."
