I can't make the Pine Barrens run later this month, so I'm heading down there (Wharton State Forest) this Saturday, Nov 6, and would love to have some company.
My plan is to meet at the parking lot of the diner at the intersection of routes 206 and 70 at noon. This will give us the opportunity to do both some day wheeling and night ops. However, if someone needs to leave early, it will not be a problem.
I have a winch, GPS, and am familiar with a bunch of different and interesting trails.
All are welcome, but be prepared for some pine striping (comes off with buffing), a muddy truck, and maybe some flooding (if you don't take a go-around and are stuck in deep water). However, most if not all deep holes have go-arounds.
If you want to mess with deep water, I'd suggest you remove the under seat CD player if you have it.
Please post here if you want to join us.
