So here's the deal.. My 2001 d2 has zero brakes.. I had a headlight out the other day, so I change it and start down the drive and the brakes go to the floor.. It stops but hardly.. I pull up the the garage check fluid.. It's fine.. Absolutely no lights on dash are lit up.. I go to pull out of garage as soon as I put it in reserve it starts moving Abdul brake pedal is to floor.. I can not see any leaks any where.. Also brake pedal returns all the way back except a quarter inch and brake lights don't shut off.. I can pull it back with foot the quarter inch and shut them off but have to hold it there.. I need help big time..

If the pedal goes to the floor and it's full of fluid I think the master cylinder has failed' I hate to diagnose cars long distance but the general rule is that if your pedal goes to the floor and the fluid is still in the system the master cylinder junk. Make sure the fluid isn't leaking out someplace and your on this so early that the reservoir is still full.

I would get a new one, or a used one from from one of the vendors here. I've never heard of anyone having any luck rebuilding, not sure where you would even get a kit.
