98 D1, no power to radio. Thought originally it was a bad unit so replaced with a known working one from Will. Still no power.

Check fuse #3 and it's good. Also check 12,13 (multisystem fuses) and they're good as well. Am I missing any other possible fuses?

On a may be related note, the dome light doesn't illuminate when the driver door is opened.

Thanks

You probably have an open or excessive resistance someplace. Sounds like your problem is between your fuses and your radio. Get the schematic out and check for battery voltage and ground at the easiest connector to get to that sits between the fuse and the radio_Or go right for the connector Gruner mentioned.

Jimmie is right and you should be using a test light to look for good battery voltage. It makes the wire do some work. Your meter will read 12 volts if the wire is just hanging on by a couple strands. But a couple strands wont carry any amperage.
