Noise when I turn right

Ok so this is an interesting thing.

When I turn right going down a hill onto a road that goes uphill my 1999 Disco II makes a strange noise. Its not like the clicking of a CV joint but more of a whiny groan. Maybe like a dinosaur. Not like a T-Rex though, maybe more of a herbavore, though I do not know what dinosaurs sound like. I really don't know how to describe the noise. It pretty much only happens turing onto my street. If I am taking a turn on flat roads there is no sound. If I am turning left it doesn't happen.

Any ideas? I have like 90,000 miles at this point by the way.

Thanks.

The noise is more pronounced when I give it gas, speed doesn't matter.

Its really annoying because I can't really locate where the sound is coming from other than the right side of the car.

It is your power steering fluid - flush and replace. My guess is it will go away after your fluid is replaced. Had the same exact thing on my 01.

It is like a groaning or straining and only when you turn right - when you give it more gas when turning right the noise increases - it is the fluid.

Well the Three Amigos have popped up. I am thinking it could be the wheel bearing.

The noise can best be described as a WWWWHHHHHRRRRRRRRROWWWWWWWWW. Its not super loud but it's noticeable.

I have same issue, only happens when turning on to road from my driveway. I can hear the noise when turning left or right. Sounds like it's coming from the wheel bearing. Is there a way to check it out? I have extended warranty, but I'm guessing they will say it does not occur for them as I can only make it happen when first starting to drive.

Thanks

I have the same problem too. When i turn right i think my back right wheel is making a laughing noise at me or somethening like that. I am guessing its the wheel bearing as well. What is the procedure to check the wheel bearing?
Thanks
