Recently I have noticed clunking sound from the front end of my 96 disco with 118k. When i go over pot holes, bumps in the road frost heaves etc, the suspension makes nioses like ther is something loose. The truck has two year old OME HD spring & shocks. I checked to see if there was anynthing loose or that I could move by hand and nothing. I am thinking it my be worn busshings. Any one have any thoughts on this? I kind of hard to describe.

i bet bushings. if they are swollen , cracked ..... they need replacing. they say that if you reach throught the window while outside the car and turn the wheel, and if you see the body of the car moving before the tires then bushings are gone.

Wheel bearings?

If its bump induced its PROBABLY not wheel bearings. Based upon what you have said has been replaced, I would vote for:

#1 Panhard bar mounting hole or bushings
#2 Radius arm bushings

I really don't think it is wheel bearings or my wife, :D I checked them last week. Aftter crawling underneath the rig I noticed the radius arm bushing that connects to the frame is cracked. If that one is bad, I am sure others are too. I makes sense, because I can feel the vibrations/clunks through the drives sides floor board.

I allready had plans to replace all of the bushing this spring/summer. That is if it every gets warm where I live. If new bushing, then what type? Genuine of ploly? If poly, what type? From what I have seen the poly bushings can be purchased as stiff or not so stiff. Any one with any thoughts?

I had a clunk as well. I looked and found that the front swaybar bushings were split. I undid the bar and voila, no more clunk. Replaced them and all is well. In retrospect, I should have installed a quick disconnect kit while I was in there.
