Hey all. I am looking for a Rover mechanic in the Fredericksburg, Va / NoVa area. Any suggestions? I have the 60k service coming up and would like to avoid the dealership if at all possible.

maybe a little far from Fredericksburg, but I have heard nothing but good things about these guys. Trevor Griffiths (head tech, i think?) is actually on Dweb and is a Rover enthusiast. I have never used them myself though, so rep is just word of mouth and from his frequent useful/knowledgable postings on here.

also, there is Arlington Motorcars in (duh) Arlington, off Wilson next to Rhodeside Grill. Again, never used these guys, but they always have a couple of Rovers sitting out front, from Series trucks to Discos. Couple of friends have used them with good results.

go to google and type in "60k service report or 60,000 service report" this guy did his own and posted very dood descriptions with pictures!!! it is always better to do things yourself, you never know what mechanics are doing and you get to know your rover!

Thanks, I will try to track that down. I just assumed that the 60k was something that the driveway mechanic couldn't do.

I don't know man, I am fairly handy, but after reading that it seems like I could have my ride siezed up tight by 61k!
