Hi,
I am looking to sell or trade my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I would like to get $20,000 or trade for a Disco in the 4-6k value plus cash. The only reason I am looking to sell my Rubi is to get out of payments. I don't have to sell right away but just wanted to get the Jeep out there b/c sometimes they need the perfect buyer. This Rubi is awesome and has never been seriously off roaded. It has great mods and is the perfect on/off roader as that is how I used it.

Here is a link the my Craigslist add for some pics. I will also try to upload some here too when I get a chance. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2964668236.html

Please let me know if you have any question and please only serious buyers. Cheers!
Anthony

If i didn't mind payments or had the cash I'd trade/cash for it.

Very clean build, where you located there. Grew up in woodinville

Haha yeah I figured I would get some. Thanks! And if anyone knows where my old D2's new home is I may be interested in buying it back.

Really nice rubi! Try listing it on pirate and the other national Jeep forums if you haven't already. They will be your best shot for selling a Jeep with a lot of mods.

btw, I can offer you my DII, a few grand and the phone number of a hot little ho that lives in silverdale ;-)

Suggest you review some of the ads here and get a feeling for pricing. Also you might want to review differences between D1 and D2 to make sure which one better suits. There are also other Rovers for sale here as well. Not sure how much you know about the beasts and you're coming out of a nicely set-up Jeep.

So I think I have my Rubi sold and am looking for my Rover. What do you guys think of his one?

I think the price is too high. Just because the guy had to do mechanical work doesn't increase the price tag. A vehicle that has recently replaced a head gasket doesn't command a premium. That price is $600-$1000 high. Some might say it is $1500 too high.

While I am as far as they come from an expert on Rovers, this would be my 5th Rover (Defender, Classic, two D2's). I live in the City, Seattle, and dont do tons of driving but it would be my only car. I am not going to be doing tons of off roading, but it may seem some moderate use.

It seems the lowest they will go right now is $3400. That price seems to be consistent with prices here and online in the Seattle area. Also, it doesnt say in the add that the backwindows work speratically and the rear sunroof doesnt close all the way and there is a slow oil pan leak. Besides that, it seems to be pretty sound.

I appreciate the thoughts & would even appreciate some more comments. Even posts to other rigs that you have seen may help to (post from here or online). Thanks for all the help!
