Where would be a good place to buy injectors for a 95 disco w/3.9! Can they clean the ones I have or do you have to buy a whole new set. Also would you suggest to replace all or just a few injectors. Thanks and God BLess

I got mine from Five-O and installed them myself. Cranked the truck up.........and ran perfectly. I highly recommend Five-O as they have excellent prices. I had TWO leaky injectors and the ones that Five-O sent replaced the OEM's perfectly.

I have overnighted the five-o to me and they were $328 and some change. I know its the injectors because I pulled the fuel rail and injectors and 4 are just peeing fuel and not shutting off. I also did my filter and plugs last night also. Helped but still problems starting. The problem is no matter if its 2 minutes after shutoff or 2 days. Still the same. anyway Are the Five-o injectors going to give me lower MPG than before. Anything beats what I am getting now but still don't want to run them too rich. Has anyone put a high power ignition system on a rover and had a increase in power if you run richer injectors and what other performance mods are good to do to get a few extra elephants out of one of these. Thanks and As always God Bless....

it will always be slow!

I wouldnt bother trying to squeeze out any extra ponies. It is a rover and will always be slow. I did know one guy here in FL that put a Rimmer supercharger on a D90. It sure was sweet but not worth the money in my opinion. If you want a fast car get a porsche or shell out some money for a 4.6 conversion. I think RPI has them built up. cheers. Gordo

I will try to describe a way of revitalizing these injectors that is DIY for perhaps some of the forum members here. You'll need a few pieces of equipment that may seem a little bit esoteric however. Specifically you remove all of your injectors and then one at a time connect them to a stereo amplifier who?s input is driven by a function generator. The function generator is configured to deliver a 20 Hz square wave. Adjust amplitude and gain for approximately 12 volts P-P delivered to the injector?s terminals. If you can successfully set this up then you?ll hold in you hand an injector that is operating but not other wise connected to a vehicle or fuel supply. At this point you flush the injector alternately with carburetor cleaner and compressed air while it is operating. In most cases after a few flush cycles the injectors clean out and perform properly and consistently. I flush them in both directions by feeding cleaner in from the fuel supply side and then the nozzle side. As you perform this operation on all 8 injectors you?ll learn kind of how a normally working injector behaves. So if you have any that leak or possibly don?t deliver a consistent spray quantity or pattern you?ll see which ones they are.

CD :)
