Dan, what's going on is that I'm filling it up to high. It really should only be filled 3/4 with hot liquid.

So now, on top of releasing fluid improperly, 25% of the product cannot be used to contain the fluid?

Good thing it's got a fancy logo on the side.

That reminds me of the Snow-Peak titanium cookware I purchased because it was light and could be packed in a very small volume. It sure looked cool, but for cooking it was about as useful as tits on a suitcase. Great for mixing fuel, oil, and additives, as well as holding kindling to light burn piles, though. Just tape it on a stick and go.

Every now and again I break some out when I forget to wash the dishes.

Cheers,

Kennith

YETI is missing the boat (no pun) if they don't design (they may have already) a stand/bracket to mount 'that' cooler permanently. Like on a center console boat.

I know a lot of people that fish including a few who earn their living as charter boat captains, and none of them use a Yeti. They've been over-engineered to where they're impractical.

none of your fucking business
By reading the comments, it appears that only retards and fratboys buy these things:

"I got this Yeti to get ready for A&M football season. I had to sell my dad's lawnmower to pay for it though. Needless to say, it was worth every penny. Our tailgate parties never ran out of cold beer (which is a pretty big achievement). And it was fun to watch the pledges try to carry a 500 lb. cooler."

You should be consuming beer at the rate you don't need the cooling power of a decent cooler. Doesn't have the swag of a Yeti but trashs can filled with ice and a keg worked just as well in my day
