O2 Sensor Wrench

Can anyone let me borrow their correct 17mm oxygen sensor wrench for a day? From reading, the only store that carries correct abnormal wrench is Pep Boys. All of our local stores just have generic SAE o2 sensor wrenches. I'll pay shipping both ways

Shipping both ways will be at least $10. It cant be too much more to just buy the wrench.

I made one by cutting a deep well industrial socket.

Why not use a regular combo wrench? I've used my ratcheting wrench to change mine. If they are really rusted then it might make things a little difficult.

You somehow fit an open end box wrench snug enough not to strip it?

I wouldn't use an open end, but a flare nut has worked for me before.

Why are you removing them? If they are bad and you're replacing them, there are a number of ways to remove them without a special socket. It doesn't take too much creativity to figure something out.

The new ones can be installed with an open end wrench.
