I need to find out what my choices are for buying new o2 sensors. I have $200.00 in gift cards on Amazon I need to use. There are plenty on there that say they are a fit but I'm not sure due to the advanced evaporative system or lack there of. My o2 connectors are 4 wire. I just don't want to get the wrong ones, or ones people have had trouble with.

I have a 96 D1.

I was affraid that was gonna be the first reply to this question... There are only two things I hate about my D1, o2s and ABS sensors.

I don't even care about the other things that are always going bad, just those two. :banghead:

I assume you don't have AEL on your '96.... This is the correct part number. NTK is the mfr. for just about all repackaged brand O2's.

D1 w/o AEL - NTK 25017
D1 with AEL - NTK 25044 (not correct for your truck if it is the orig. engine)

PT has em in stock I believe...

Honestly, the cheapest you will find those OEM O2's with proper plug already on is around $100 ea.

Thanks for all the links. A lot new (to me) info in these posts. I don't mind spending the money on the right part, I just didn't want throw my money down the crapper if there were better options.

Amazon usually has about the best prices on NTK sensors, which were OE on D1's.
If you want to pay more for the ones repackaged in the white boxes with the green oval that's your choice.
The part numbers are:
w/AELS - 25044
w/o AELS - 25017

Look on the "Rover Group Limited" tag under the bonnet.
VLR1124AYPFE - Advanced Evaporative Loss System
VLR1060AYPBC - Standard Evaporative Loss System
