I thought there might be an update for this from the searches. Looking for a good iPhone app to read the elm327 wifi reader? There's quite a few out there but I was wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for our trucks! 2004 discovery btw... Thanks!

Will have to look into that. One question I looked at the website and could not find if the OBII would power the phone.

I have mine on a Galaxy S3 with a suction cup window mount. You can choose your gauge type and colors, plus a whole lot more. It can read more than information than our trucks have sensors for.

I've been using Dash Cmd for months on all my vehicles, has worked well. I know Torque pro is very popular, but I've never tried it.

I have an iphone so I picked a wifi enabled odb2 and downloaded engine link from the App Store. Very happy with both. 25 bucks for everything. I used to use a USB model and my laptop (paid for itself hundreds of times over), but this is great for mpg, engine temp, and if the ses pops up while away.

I use a $15 Bluetooth dongle with the TorquePro app. Works great. Swaps between vehicles quick and easy.
I also installed two normal cigarette plugs on my D1 that are always hot. Used flag terminals on the backside to keep the depth to a minimum.
