Odd place for expansion tank leak?

Found this small crack yesterday morning...no overheat issues. Was making a slight water slosh noise from the dash. Coolant level was fine though.

Stick a blob of JB weld on it, top off the coolant, jack up the front, bleed the system and hope it goes away. The sloshing sound is an airlock in your heater core.

Yeah, I am aware of the sloshing issue from low coolant. (This isn't my first rodeo with Discos) but thanks.

I just ordered a new tank....she deserves it.
