sound like you will want the 285s. they are and little taller and narrower than the 265s. i am not really familiar with swampers, but BFG makes a good MT tire.
hopefully some other FL folk can speak up with what they are running.

285s are not narrower than 265s and they are taller only if they have the same aspect ratio.

Hey Marcus, truck is looking good, can't wait to see it in person.

I would highly recommend the 255/85 BFG's. I have a couple of friends who are running those and they absolutely kick ass down here in our conditions. The Rangie currently has 285/75's and those are pretty darn good, but definately switching to 255/85's when the time comes due for new tires.

Hope to see you soon...Ocala is calling our name!

I'm running 34x9 Super Swampers on NATO steelies, with and without wheel spacers and I seem to get around ok. I also have 285/75 REVO A/T on a nother set of steelies, but those are for "commuting", not stuffing.

I would think with 4.11's you'd want something pretty tall for on the road, on the order of 33" or 34", to keep somewhere near the same engine RPM's.

My street tires are 265x75x16 Wrangler mt/r's...they run well with the 4.11's...I know I have enough gearing to afford up to 35" rubber...but I wanna run tall n skinny.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

If you want tall and skinny, 9.00x16's would fit NATO wheels. Those would be about 35" tall. Here's a pic of some Co-op grip spurs (great tires) next to some Michelin 1100x16 xl's.
