Offset radius arms or true tracs?

OK trying to figure out where to go next - I am running a 2 inch Rovertym lift, Rovertym rear links and Tom Woods shafts front and rear and 265/75's

My question is - how are people handling the lightness in the front end due to lift. I am sure this is subjective but I'm trying to find a consensus on is it better to get the Rovertime caster adjusted radius arms or go with the true trac lockers?

Will the adjusted radius arms move the tires forward any like the rear links do for the rear? Not sure if the tires would handle that or not since they don't clear the bumper (ARB) by much.

Do true tracs work ok for daily drivers? I use this truck 90/10 as far as onroad/offroad. Although I am hoping to adjust that ratio in the future. What about changing the gearing? I just put on the 265/75's and can notice a difference in acceleration (not that you can race a Disco or anything but it is slower). Any recomendations there?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do all three... Get the RTE offset front arms (you can get them longer or stock length) and that will get your steering back to normal.. I would do that first.. Then save up the money for the gears and lockers and then put those in.. If you are going to get a locker you might as well do the gears at the same time while the diff is out anyways. For the gears/lockers I would give Great Basin Rovers a call.. You can remove your third member and send it to them.. They will put the locker and gears in and send it back. That way it gets done right and you don't have to go looking for a shop to do it or do it yourself.

Of course once you put lockers in you're going to want to put in HD axles as well.. It's a downhill spending spree once you put those lockers in... Great Basin Rovers sell HD axles as well.

I have a 99 D2 with a 3" lift. When i first lifted it I also had the front lightness you are talking about. I installed a T.T. in the front along with Detroit in the rear. The T.T. keeps the front end centered as if there was no lift besied all the extra traction. Because I also installed 265's I installed 4:11's to get my power back, works really well.

If you've got a D1, go with ARB lockers as a tru trac is NOT a locker. TT seem to work better in D2's b/c of traction control. Go with the radius arms and ARB's for the best possible traction

I was really thinking about the true tracs because I heard they help with the wandering - not so much for the traction. The wife loves to drive the Disco but has hated the light steering since I put the lift on.

What is the deal with gears? How do you know what to get? I can handle things like lifts and drive shafts but gear ratio's and torque leave me lost and wondering.
