i had to run to the local Land Rover dealership for a part and while i was there, i had the parts guy look up the hoses. they are no longer available. So i'm gonna hunt for some or find a suitable replacement in case trying to fix them doesn't work. damn!

Bought mine off ebay, about 90.00 for the pair. You usually only need the one, but why not.

NOTE: Those are D1's but probably can find something similar for D2's. Also came in sealed heavy duty bags and boxed. Very nice. I think they actually shipped from Lucky 8... but not really sure.

Yep, LRPARTS on eBay = Lucky 8. Bought plenty of parts from them through eBay.

well, i popped off the oil return line and replaced the 2 o-rings inside. taking the battery out and the battery box made this chore easier. snapped it back together only to find that the metal to rubber crimp/coupling is leaking too, so a replacement is in order (crap!). the search begins.

just a quick note: the o-ring replacement seems to work. the oil drip must have been residual oil because the leak was pretty bad. the o-rings were the hbnr type readily available at your local harbor freight store in a nice assortment. i've been keeping a close eye on the oil level, and noticed the level was not reducing anymore. after a good cleaning with a couple of cans of brake cleaner around the affected areas, all is well (for know, knocking loud on the ol wood!). i took it on a 250 mile round trip to the hunting camp, and no problems. thanks for all your replies!
