I could not find anything on the forum on this subject. 1-Is there anyway to replace or clean the oil seperator ? 2-can this be done with out removing the valve cover/plenum? When I took the hose off the there is a silver metal cylinder about 1/2" in diameter by 3/4" tall on my 04' disco. I bought the kit a while ago from AB. I have about 60 k and I have been getting oil seepage on valve cover right side, oil residue end of tail pipe. Thanks for your time.

You should have a pcv in that tube. It is a plastic array of alternating discs about 1.5 inches long. If it is gunked up really badly you will need to be careful removing it as it will crumble in pieces as you remove it. Use some needle nose pliers and dig it out of there. Make sure you get all the pieces out. Compare what you pull out to the new one in your kit. Then clean the tube with a rag and screwdriver or whatever you can get in there, install the new one and you are good to go.

Cheers,

Mike

On my d 1 i batteled for days it wouldent move ,then i couldent take it any more and grabed the little nipple on the end with pliers and pulled strait up , dont twist it , it will weaken quickly, pull strait and, i think the engine being hot might have helped!

Hey that makes sense to me too. There was never the part you discribed in my tube to start with, as I posted prior. I do have that part that you mentioned. The sphereical part just sits at the bottom of the tube resting on the vavle cover transition.
Thank you for responding take care
