I was first on here as cptyarderho I think, 2001 maybe. Have not seen Kennith here in forever. I miss having PTSchram around..
Kennith seriously wanted somebody to be banned, was denied that, got pissed off and never came back. Officially, that is.
PTSchram is still around, I think.
I think it's a bit more nuanced than that. Kennith also had irreconcilable philosophical differences with Chris Snell. He enumerated these to me in what can only be described as "Kennith-level detail" in a private message that I still have. Whatever the merits of his complaints may have been, they didn't affect my interaction with DiscoWeb then and still don't now. Put another way, Kennith cared about stuff other people didn't.
I wish I could have been a part of the old timers. I’m only 31 and the Land Rover bug bit me hard. I’m just getting started compared to you all and hopefully I can do my part by helping keep them on the road.

A couple of years ago I found a '95 (I think) Discovery not running and with paint that looked like it had sat under a magnifying glass in a Arizona parking lot for $650. Besides that solid, at least as far as I could tell. Seemed to be a case of the owners not understanding what they had except a truck that didn't run and looked like shit. Anyway, I fucked up and hesitated or I'd be back in the fold.

Kennith....I spoke to him a few times on the phone. He was unique, I will give him that. I didn't think he was a bad guy at all. Most of the time you'd just page down and down and down and just kinda skim his posts.

One time Keneth got on here spouting off about how it’s ok that insurance companies are justified in not wanting to carry us anymore when we get older. It’s cheaper to insure a 18 yr old. He would start that shit cause he knew it would get someone pissed off. He lived for it.
