Older rims on a DII?

Ok - did some searching but confused by results so here goes:

Can I run early model rover rims on my '04 DiscoII with a spacer? I saw some site that sells some type of spacer but wanted to confirm the application. I know the bolt pattern is different so I am hoping there is something available to convert.

If they are available, can anyone comment if they are safe or any usage issues/limitations I should know about? Is anyone doing this?

Thoughts are welcome. If I missed something in my searches - flame away.

You can run any DII or RR P38 Wheels on your truck. The DI/RRC/D90 wheels have a different lug pattern and won't fit. The spacers are to move the wheels/tires further out from the axel so you can run larger tires or wider wheels without rubbing.

Will 15 fit on a series 2? If so that is the way I would go there are alot more tire selections and the tires are cheaper.:patriot: :patriot:

Them will work if you can find the right pattern, DII to DI.

I think some guys on here are running 15" steel wheels on a DII, but don't quote me on that. There are cheap 16" tires, namely in 265/75 R16, Chevy trucks, among others, use that size stock.

So - no one knows about an adaptor out there that will allow my '04 Disco2 (5 on 120mm lug pattern) to run the older (5 on 6.5 lug pattern) rover wheels?
