Sometime in the future I would like to uprade to a 04-newer RR or a Lr3. My question is...Regarding suspension will they be the same operating costs? Also, I need something to handle 30-60mph on bumpy roads without breaking, like my 97 disco.

just thinking

Off road height turns off at 30 MPH on either.

Get the LR3. Terrain response is available 07 MY and up for RR.

LR3 takes regular oil. RR takes synth.

LR3 has Jag engine and RR has BMW up to 07.

Suspension should be the same. It is the same system. Get the RR if you can afford it. They just look so cool. Got the LR3 because I needed the better performance off road and more interior space.

RR is BMW from 03-05. 06+ is jag

the LR3 will get out of alignment pretty quick. the RR seems to hold the specs alot better.

Neither will handle the bumps like the D1. it is different and not near as easily modified.

Of the 2, i would go with a 05 RR. BMW engine and the updated interior and Nav system.
They ran the 03 RR's up the rubicon before releasing them. there are some pics and videos floating around and they did pretty good. not too much rocker damage.
