My '76 BMW 2002 has got to go! It handles like a go cart! Guards Red, H&R Sport Springs, fat sway bars, 320is wheels, Sparco Driver's Seat, 2 Recaro seats included. Here's the problem: exhaust valve guide seals are toast in 2 cylinders. She smokes like crazy from the valve cover breather. The bottom end is fine. Shock towers are great, the frame rails are pretty good. $2000 and she's all yours! Man, I really need this sold! I'll post some pics soon.

I had a '76 2002 back in the day ... my wife kept bugging me about it taking up space but I drove it to well over 200k until it finally gave out ... they're cool little cars ...

Wow
Never thought you would part ways with that baby
Just make sure you sell it whole.
If I hear that body is going on your RR Classic frame I will personally club your ass.

Good Luck
This is a nice 2002
Just the driver sucks

That is a nice car and I'd love to have another 2002 but it won't be happening now. Sell it in about 2 years after a full restore for that price and we have a deal!
Engine problems on those cars don't bother me to much. You could always get an m20 or even an m50 to slap in there!
I miss my BMW's but Bobbi made me sell my last one.

Really wish I had the money...seems like a great little daily driver for somebody. Im saving up for something like this:

I learned to drive a stick shift on our '70 2002. My dad bought it in '72 and I think the closest dealers were in Norfolk, VA and somewhere in TN. Back then, BMW's were 'very' foreign cars to VA.

I purchased a '67 MGB in 1979 which I still own....right now it's in the middle of a restoration started 12 years ago (kids, moving, and jobs got in the way), but one day she'll be back on the road.

Sorry to hijack, but 2002's and MGB's both remind me of good times!
