In the spring I'm going to start it .

It should turn right over. 12 year old gas and I have not looked at it for 2 years.

2006 BMW 330I, slightly lowered with Eibach pro kit springs. Very fun, good mpg, and it's rear drive. If I had the money I would have gone 335, but it's the wife's daily driver and didn't want to spend any more.

^nice 533i!! Love that style

I hate the new minis, driven several. Something goofy about driving the originals I like.

I have a bike, bicycle and 600RR. Fun, but no fun in rain.

The Jaguar XJS is my other vehicle right now, and it's an automatic. I think that's right for the car, though.

I just haven't seen anything else in a while that kept my interest, though I'm looking forward to test driving a 2015 Mustang with that revised suspension, four cylinder engine, and a manual transmission.

Cheers,

Kennith

Mine is a '11 F-150 SuperCrew with the EcoBoost. It's not fancy or a manual but it's still fun to drive. It definitely the quickest ride I've ever owned.

My daily driver is an 04 Saab 9-5 Aero. Practical, quick, safe, and fun. I normally get in the low 30s on the highway.

I've had a couple bikes as well. They are sporty and fun, but after a few sketchy events I had to move on. Just sold a 76' Honda CB 550 that I re-did as a café racer. Had a Kawasaki ZX-7R a while back that was setup to drag/ street race (full ackrapovic/ low/ stock arm, but would launch like a freak). I just want to win the lottery so I get a Porsche gt3rs or gt2rs

What does everyone have for secondary vehicles besides the Rover? I have an 04 6 speed S60R and I'm looking to change to something that's more fun and either reliable or easily/cheaply fixed. I just want something more fun for my daily commute. The volvo is plenty fast, so I'm not really looking for speed, more fun.

I'm cool with 5 speed e30s, just wondering what people have/like?

(has to be manual)

What about price? That is the most important factor.

I have no experience with a vehicle that is fun, reliable, easy and cheap to fix. Sorry.

These days easy and cheap to fix are mutually exclusive for me since I have not been DIY on my vehicles. As a result reliable means that they are easy and cheap to fix since they do not break.

'97 F350 crew, reliable and cheap to fix, not easy nor fun.
'00 Subaru Outback, relatively cheap to fix not reliable, not fun, only some things easy.
-- EDIT, this has been my most unreliable car in 14 years. Now a complete beater has 185k and for some reason it now seems more reliable than at 110k. Mainly because so much shit has been replaced.
'00 P38 H&H only fun. Not mentioning the others, it might hear me. :smilelol:

A CBR is exactly the type of bike I had in mind, I did not know you had one of those!

It's a blast, just don't like it in the rain! We get a lot of it in VT.

Ideally less than $10k. Doesn't have to be too reliable, just no fiats, yugos, alfas, etc.

'07 VW Jetta 5-spd, 77k miles is wife's DD. Has the 2.5l 5 cylinder, not the most powerful thing but good on gas and zips around down here just fine.
'95 RRC LWB 169k miles
'05 Z71 4x4 Suburban, 135k miles. Have had it since new, fuel economy marginally better than the RRC.

The last truly cheap, easy to fix and reliable car I've had that actually hit on all three of those factors was my '02 P71 Crown Vic... Other than that, I'd have to go back to the big GM sedans I had though high school. Of course, gas was $1.05/gallon then too so everything seemed cheaper.

My 2000 RR just left the family; technically, I should change my username.

Current vehicles at our house:
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2005 Range Rover
2012 Jeep Liberty
2013 Jeep Patriot

I didn't think it was allowed to have that many Jeeps and a Range at the same house!!!
