Somewhere I have the issue of Land Rover Monthly where this frankendisco was featured in an article. I remember seeing a table with the cost breakdowns. By far the biggest ticket items were the tires and the Unimog axles. No way did the build cost come anywhere close to 35,000 pounds. I'd have to go back and look at the article, but I think the total cost was closer to 15,000 pounds.
One key item this thing is missing is a lightning rod. I would not want to sleep in that roof top tent in a storm. Oh yeah...and where is the spare wheel?
