I'd love a roof top tent! The silver Tacoma has pull out drawers in the bed with a cap.

The event looks fun to me. I'm looking forward to it.

Not all of us can aspire to work for a funeral home, dine at Red Lobster and copy JSQ's truck and pine for his lifestyle.

I just giggled.

Just post a few pics of you at the tactical shooting range showing proper foot placement, in particular proper heel to toe alignment on such surfaces as concrete, mud, packed dirt, and gravel.

Lol, Garrett. You really are turning into an expo wanker. When are you starting your expo trailer build?

Be sure to get johnathan Hanson to autograph your felt hat, and hot Scott Brady up for some advice on how to mod your sweet Toyota.

.... Speaking of, I bet you see no less than 12 toyotas that look identical to yours, only with awesome roof top tents. Lol.

I just like to travel - with or without a vehicle. As long as I have the time and resources to travel to some unique places, I am more than happy. If that makes me an expo wanker fine. I'm ok with that. But I am not sure what has turned me into an "expo wanker". Because I went to Iceland and Newfoundland-Labrador and drove around? Dan I think you know that your copy cat JSQ truck is more "expo" than anything I drive. All those Pelican cases, sweet Snow Peak gear the XD rack for all those worldly trips you take via the highway. Thing is I don't think there's a problem with that - you do.

My daily driver is a 2007 Tacoma with a lift, KM2s, bumper, winch and sliders. It's a training truck, not some trail queen with cool lights and fridge in the back to store my leftovers from Red Lobster.

Everyone that takes themselves a little too serious with this stuff can do just that. It really doesn't bother me all that much. It can certainly be entertaining (which I enjoy highlighting from time to time), but unless there is a safety issue or misinformation being thrown around it's not going to make me upset.

Don't be so angry. Just love. Do you need a hug?

PS: I did talk to Scott a few times about bumpers, etc. He's been helpful. I just got off the phone with some other folks at Overland Journal/Expeditions West about an event in June in NC we'll likely be working.

Aw shit. Is it too late for a refund? ;)

I'll be there at least two days, maybe all three.

Frank: the AZLRO crew camping out in the same place?

No clue...not camping, there will be something, but I was told my services weren't needed after I did all the leg work for them

Uh oh, that's a Chapman-esque thread in the making.

Garrett, You're going to a show-and-shine car show 2,500 miles away from home. If that does not make you a wanker, I don't know what does. I'm sure you'll be highly entertained checking out all the bathroom tents, expedition vans, and fold out awnings.

Dan I think you know that your copy cat JSQ truck is more "expo" than anything I drive.

Funny how you have to make things up to attempt to make a point. The only thing the same between my truck and Jack's in the year/make/model/color and the Hella lights. Everything else is completely different. Springs, shocks, sliders, front bumper, rear bumper, winch, rack, tires, lockers, gears, complete interior...are all different. There is noting copy-cat about the two trucks, they're totally different.

All those Pelican cases, sweet Snow Peak gear the XD rack for all those worldly trips you take via the highway. Thing is I don't think there's a problem with that - you do.

I have a problem with that? If I had a problem with pelicans, snow peak, and roof racks, why would I own them?

My daily driver is a 2007 Tacoma with a lift, KM2s, bumper, winch and sliders. It's a training truck, not some trail queen with cool lights and fridge in the back to store my leftovers from Red Lobster.

First, your truck is more of a rental than a daily driver; it's not even yours. I'm not even sure if you even own a vehicle, do you? You should think about getting a 1990 Mustang 5.0 GT because that would look really nice next to your rental.

Second, I found your truck online. http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&...t&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq= It's pretty unique.

..and I guess the "trail queen" comment was a stab at me. But everything on my truck I use. I used the lights last night and again this morning; actually, I use them all the time on a weekly basis. I'm glad I dropped the extra $$ on quality lights because they're a really nice tool. Same with the fridge, I use it all the time. I can't remember the last time I even turned it off, it's been months. It's a great tool and I'll always have one. I'm actually thinking of getting a second Engle for the LR3 because we use it so much.

LOL, I bet that will be a sweet "event".

Come on, Garrett, lets got get that Toyota dirty. Has it ever even been dirty? Have you even used 4wd in it yet?

I thought I had pics of the 2010 OX up somewhere, but I can't find them. I took more pics in the camp area than I did the show area.

I'm not signed up for any of the adventure stuff, only the day passes. It's just cool to see the stuff available for off-roading without seeing 12" lift kits and triple chrome shocks for a ford f-350 truck. All the other shows around here are for the mall crawler crowd.
I look forward to meeting Justin and Garrett, along with hanging out with the AZLRO guys/gals.
