Oxygen Sensor Socket Tap Size

Hi,

The rear passenger 02 Sensor on my 97 disco did not come out very well.... most of the thread on the sensor ended up becoming part of the socket that it screwed into on the exhaust pipe. Does anyone know what size Tap to use to fix the threads in the hole?? This must've happened to someone before. Thanks!

ok... I used a 12mm x 1.25 tap and fixed the threads, O2 sensor went in no problem. Thanks!
