looked up the code and got this:

1448-evaporative loss control system (Drive Cycle C)
purge valve flow 2
what do i need to do for this? what does this mean?

maybe the purge valve on the top of the charcoal canister is bad. you will have to look into it in rave to see which one is #2. also, do a search on here as there is a $20 purge valve listed in here somewhere. cant remember if it was nissan or what but much cheaper.....

you can throw the part at it or get a smoke test done to find the leak....

thanks. that seems to be the route some have pointed to also. i heard it on the way home yesterday, but thought it was my powertank. lucky wish i guess.

Hyundai purge valve part #28910-22040

it may not be the valve...but for $20...it sup to you man!

like i said....read all about it in rave and look at the diaghrams.

do you know where the purge valve and charcoal canister is? its mounted on the pass wheel well. trace all of the lines to and from for cracking/leaking before you throw a pv at it.

yeah, that is what i was planning on. the things i have read seem to start there also. besides, i need to check all the lines anyway.
