i know that there have been some threads recently asking for pictures of peoples lifted and modified RRC's. i would be interested in seeing some people who have pics of their, or friends, lifted and modified range rover P38. much obliged fellow roverians.

I forgot to measure before I started, so I don't know what it was originally. If someone would be willing to make a measurement from ground to wheel well in each EAS mode front and back that would be sweet.

But you should definitely do it. It's really not that hard at all, and not many people have done it. It's a very capable vehicle, even when stock.

Since the rear bumper I haven't really done much with mine (been focusing on school.. er.. trying anyway..), and therefor still have a ton I would like to do. ie air lockers, front winch bumper, sliders, underbody protection.. you get the gist..

Also, depending on what you're looking to do/spend/how much comfort you're looking to give up, or keep, you might want to take a look at this: The AiRock system seems awesome, but I haven't heard of anyone to do it. I almost wish this was around, or I knew about it, when I did my lift.

i know a guy that has the airrock system on his 95 lwb and he likes it. i am trying to eliminate the EAS all together, not upgrade.

i know that the RTE 3" springs yield closer to 4" of lift once installed. of course when winches, bumpers, and cargo are involved that height decreases.

You should post some additional pics of yours with the recent mods.

I used all the same stuff as Alan Bates at rockrover.com. He has an entire walkthrough of how to do the list, what parts, and expected measurments. You can find all this under the Tech Articles.

The ride is rough. I've heard that it's just the OME springs, which are very stiff. The Bilstien shocks seem to work fine though and don't really cause the rough ride.

If you're going with RTE I think it should ride better, but I'm not really sure.

did you de-pressurize the EAS before pulling the bags? if so, which method did you use?

Relocation brackets were easier because longer shocks weren't available at the time that you could bolt in. You can get longer shocks now, but still need to modify the mounts.

Hey etcatmeat!

Heres the link for that site you made for me a while back. That was very helpful to me as I did my lift (not to mention your advice/consultance).

haha... I completely forgot about that link. It still works! If course many things have changed since those pics
