P38 rough start and fuel filter question

I bought two of these esr4065 for older trucks and now I?d like to use them on my current p38. I?m having rough start issues when cold and so far I?ve done battery. Half done with plugs and wires. Then after a two day time out I?ll check and see if she pulls some more rubbish.

Anyway my fuel filters didn?t come with the little copper washers. Can I substitute them with something? Or should I just buy a new one from someone? I just need two dang washers.

pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator and see if fuel is leaking from your regulator. And put an actual fuel pressure gauge on the thing.
