I'd like some opinions on painting my Classic. The current paint is so hideous that I started spray bombing it just to cover it up and get it one color. As time has gone on I've debated having it painted for real. Here it is as I got it...

I started to spray bombing and clean it up a bit..

My problem is I'm not sure if I even like the original color. It's like a root beer brown. I forget the name. Some mountain range in Scotland. I'm nervous to change the color of it.

.

I think this is it too. Not sure

Has anyone changed a color of a RRC? I'd rather keep it original color for the logistics of it all. But I really love white. Opinions? Thoughts?

I'm going to catch shit for this, but I think that spray paint has potential. It doesn't look half bad there.

If you can keep it even, it might turn out pretty cool.

I have had 2 RRCs repainted and have kept the original color as I wanted it all to match. It can be done if you want to pay for the beast to be stripped down and all the bits painted. Brown is a very European color and still seen on some Marques. Not seen very often in US so if you can live with it, will not see many others.

The brown with TWR wheels looks nice on that last pic. Classic color but the wheels make it look a little more updated

I like the beige they did on the Hunter RRC trucks. And I hate beige on vehicles in general.

Thanks. While I was at the rattle can fever...I was thinking of painting the roof white.

I have a budget for this truck. Its either getting pretty (er) or its going to get built mechanically. Or sold. I suppose that's always an option too. It's my bastard side project so it owes me nothing.
