After 6" of Spring Lift to the 90 the Panhard Rod is a few inches too short. Im too Cheep to pay 300 plus for the modified ones out there. while i was naping under the beast suffering from busted kuncles I looke up and the solution seemend so simple. It looks like an easy fix just cut an extended bracket beef it up a bit and weld it in place of the old mount. It seems like it should work providing I beef it up.

Has any one done this? Or is it betted to get some tube and bungs and make a new one with heim or johny joint? It might be 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other...

I?ll check it out,

I bought the springs a few years ago from Saturn Coil Spring Works in the UK. I had them on a Disco for about 18K miles no a sag or decrease in performance thus far. There the best set of springs I?ve ever purchased two thumbs up IMO ? They were a bit costly and shipping sucked all said I think I was around 500.

The ride height is actually 5.75" inches higher than the stockers. Of course this lead me down a costly path, I had to extend the brake lines and lower the front sway bar perches I also added some JKS quick release links to extend the length and aid in quick removal, I also scarped the rear sway bar for now. I had a custom set of CV drive shafts made GBR provided the adapters, This was a must the stock shaft were binding badly and produced some very nasty vibes. Also installed a Rockware trailing arms,
A Qt Services Radius arm; this was a must have item with the 90 up that high it was a white knuckle adventure. The kids still hum the Indiana Jones them when we go for a ride. IMO it rides and tracks very close to it did when stock.

So this last item in the suspension upgrade looks like the Pan-hard. Im also kicking around the idea of doing an AirRock setup on my 90... That will take some work...
