Parking Brake Vibration...Maybe?

Replaced parking brake shoes and retaining springs last week. I have been trying to adjust the parking brake using the under-console knob and the bolt on the parking brake itself (according to RAVE procedure). Either the parking brake feels too tight, or I cannot get the lever/handle to acceptably stop the vehicle from rolling. Regardless of the adjustment, when I come to a stop, around 5mph, I get a vibration until I stop that seems to coincide with a drivetrain component (obviously, most likely the parking brake - it was not there before). Anyone with more wisdom know how to fix this?

I just dug into this today (replaced the cable and cleaned everything up).

I struggled with the RAVE adjustment as well - I got it close with the 4th (versus the RAVE stated 3rd) click of the lever holding the rig. Good enough for me!

Did you check to see if there was any play/wiggle in the output flange? Maybe something got between the drum and the flange and is keeping it from being evenly mated? Or, something between the driveshaft and output flange not letting them evenly mate together?

Good luck.

I forgot to mention: I can pull up the parking brake and release three or four times at a red light or a stop, and its great for the next 5 or 6 times I stop.
