My ashtray and coin tray in my 2004 no longer push out on their own. Will new trays solve this? Or is the problem in the mount? If the problem is the trays, then I'll take them. I also probably need a few more miscellaneous interior parts.

Mine in my 1999 do the same thing! I have the same question.

Check the metal springs in the retractable assembly. They are what push the ash tray and coin tray out. The springs may have come undone or broken their plastic mounts. Pry out the coin tray or ash tray and above and behind each unit there is a metal spring. You may need to remove the retractable cup holder assembly (3 screws on either side of the assembly) to inspect and repair.

I forgot, this is on an '04 so the retractable cup holders aren't on this model year. Nevertheless, the problem is the same. It's with the springs that force the trays out.

Do you have the cowal/hood cover for the gage cluster on the steering column? Mine is loose and I can pull it off if it wasn't for the connections on either side. Do you have any tips on fixing it? Would buying a used one in great shape be a cure? Please help.
