Damn someone rescue this thing and build a hybrid or something. It is better than the one I started with and you wont feel guilty butchering a 700 series. Just think what it could be with lots of wrenching, welding, and an old RRC/D1 chassis/drivetrain. Gordo
PS: you dont need the steering wheel anyway!

Never ask first. Let her build up te courage to find out why you're spending all that time out in the garage giggling manically to yourself. She'll be devestated when she finds out what her competition is.

Many apologies for the late response. I have been on vacation and will be until Jan 21 with limited web access. There is no title, but I hear that this can be obtained pretty easily considering the age of the truck. A couple of people are interested in the truck as a whole. So, I will wait a couple of weeks to see if that pans out before letting pieces go.
Sorry for any confusion.

Put me last in that list of people interested in the truck (I am lacking the time to restore it, but.... I don't think it would take much....).

Add me to the bottom of the list for the whole thing. I don't need it, but hat to see it parted out. And I do have a diesel I can drop in it.
