Those tires are silly! You're gonna love them. After I put mine on it made a whole new truck...

How did you balance yours?

Really good looking rig. What size and brand tires are those? I don't recognize them at all. Love the lightforce lights. A lot of guys down here are running them, and seem to like tham a lot. Once again, great looking rig.

I thought you were some kind of 4-wheeling expert???? Anyone who has ever seen the trails could tell you what type tire that is and that they are only avaliable in 3-sizes....

That is PRECISELY why our trucks won't be running at Crozet anytime soon!! 2"lift and 245/75s just isn't going to cut it out there I know! lol

It's so close though...I hope to make it out to at least ride along or spectate some time this fall.

Ballanced them with 12 oz of sticky weights on the inside of the rim and put 3 oz on the out side

35 13.50 BFG Krawlers

How did that work out for you? I used the ceramic beads, 12-ounces per tire, and they are "ok". I get some wobble up to about 35mph, then until 55mph or so I get a shimmy but it's not too bad, and at 80mph is smooths out like butta. Vibes come back about 93mph. (course, I think they tires are only rated at 70mph)

Sus, there is stuff at Crozet you can do. my club cut a green trail there a year and a half ago. it's short, but fun. things you need for Crozet are sliders, skids, and a good spotter. you could do some blues and have a blast. the trails are tight though.

you know it can't be that hard.. sorry man, but roverlady you can do that long as you have the clearance.

Hahaha. You have no idea.

here are a few teasers. and these are not even on the "hard" trails. I got those on my home pc...

ahh I see you got the cross over steering. keep us posted on how it holds up. tires look good.

Ok, so call me stopid, but do you eliminate the tie rod on the back side of the axle with that setup, or leave it in place as redundant?
