Some dingbat peroxide pinhead sideswiped my mirror today as I was picking up some co-workers curbside here in downtown Jax. I was so tweaked, absolutely certain that the mirror assembly would cost hundreds of dollars! Guess what? 34 bones for the mirror, 5 for the bracket to reattach to the motor and 45 bucks in labor (hey, it's the pinheads insurance!) and I'm out the door! Wh says LR parts are expensive?!
Of course it's entirely possible that the 'force' of the impact popped my transmission seals and I will be stranded to the tune of 5 grand on the drive home, but WTF!
