\Looking forward to 2022 when we are finally done with the military moves and can settle down and build a true custom home out west somewhere.

In other words, you're looking to either A) test your marriage; B) get a divorce.

They say to get your home right you have to build it three times. And then build it three more times. I now believe this to be true. I will also never build a custom home ever again - the wife can do it all while I'm on a 9-month vacation.

Your plumber and vendor are full of shit, I am a plumber and I would never recommend Delta. Kohler looks better, works better, and in 20 years when the faucet starts to leak Kohler will send you a new fixture. The supply line thing is BS too, a while ago really high end companies like Grohe used their own supply lines but even they switched to a standard 3/8 line
