Popping noise coming from supspension

Hey everyone, I'm hopeful that someone can help me figure out what's going on with my D2. Ever since ROTR, whenever the truck shifts weight from one side to the other, there is a noticeable pop noise that sounds like it's coming from the rear. For example, if I swerve from side to side while driving, I hear a pop every time the truck rolls to one side. Any ideas what this could be?

Make sure your springs are seated properly. Also check all your bushings and your A-arm joint.

Missed the part about it being a D2. Check the Watts, not the A-arm joint.

Mine did this. Turns out my shocks weren't sinched down and were hitting the shock plate every time they articulated

Get under the truck with a big flathead. Have someone sway the truck back and forth in order to duplicate the noise. Use the screw driver to pinpoint the bad bushing. I did this and it took me less than 2 minutes to find my watts linkage had a bad bushing.

It's your watts. Do you get a clunk or pop when turning in to parking spots? Mine went bad after one off road trip myself.

Does the truck have ACE? If not its probably the sway bar bushings, or the watts linkage.

I've replaced a lot more sway bar bushings than watts linkage bearing/bushings. I did replace my watts linkage though.

I had this issue except the noise was in the front. It ended up being the sway bar bushings.
I would check the sway bar bushings, the watts bushings, and the swaybar links.

After URE 8 my swaybarlinks got loose and started making a popping noise in the back.

So disconnect the sways and see if it stops.

So disconnect them, and then drive around for a little?

So I took a crack at removing the rear sway arms. The bolts are on there pretty good. I have them soaking in PB, and I'll take another crack at it another time. Thanks again for the info.

Surely running up and down that last trail with the ravine would not have caused that? LOL
