Power Passenger Seat Bottom Question

All,

Simple question here. Is the passenger power seat bottom on a D1 supposed to move up and down (vertical) as well as tilt? My drivers side seat bottom allows up/down, forward/back, and tilt up/tilt down actions. Currently my passenger seat will do everything except the up and down. I just cleaned up the controller so either I have a motor issue or I missed a dirty contact.

They are designed to have the same possible movement. Could be a dead motor. Could be one of the little brass 'wings' inside the switch is too flat. Could be a bb missing or a spring gone rogue. Those switches are way too complicated for what they do.
