Can anyone tell me the proper method for removing the cables from the seat motors.
I have recently bought a set of front seats and need to swap the motors.

Before going to the trouble have you located the fuses under the driver's seat and checked?

The old motors operated, they were extremely weak. In fact they would hardly move with a person sitting in the seat.

The process ended up being more simple than it seemed. I marked each motor as to its position in the cluster (bottom or top, front or rear). Then removed the front cover panel and the screws (2 on each side of each motor, 16 total) After the screws were removed, each motor would slide out of the bracket. As the motor slid out the cables would also slide out of the ends of the motors. The ends of the flexible cables are square and could be repositioned into the replacement motors with a slight twist.

Thanks for all of your responses.
