Power Steering Box and Pump

I am in great need of a new power steering box for my 95 D1. Is there any reason to replace the power steering pump at the same time? Probably going to use Meridian for the parts. Truck has about 135k miles. Thanks.

Finally ready to get back to the project. Any advice... Is there a reason/benefit to installing a power steering pump at the same time as the power steering box?

no, if it aint broke dont fix it. changing the pump is easy and completely seperate to changing the box. it should be done later when it needs it.
