No. I think that it kills the lines. Silly, I know, but there you are. Maybe I'll rent one and see how I feel about it after 100 rounds or so.

Withya on that...I love my 226 and shot one with the conversion and was a little weird for lack of a better description...mine a German rig, but I've shot both and found zero difference and its fits me perfectly

I'm in the same boat, can't find really anything I like that's smaller...

SP2022 is in the same boat as a PX4. As crappy as I shoot, the difference between the 2022 and M9 or 226 was noticeable but small.

Nothing, so far. I always hem and haw on decisions like this. I really dig the PPQ M1, the HK is....well, HK, and I love old, Kraut P226's but the trigger reach is just a bit too long.

The dark horse is an early 90's 3rd generation DAO 5900 series S&W. Those guns are the chick with glasses in high school. You don't pay much attention to them. But if you give them a try, they'll blow your mind. Reliable, accurate, reliable. Did I say they were reliable?

I bought my duty 5906 when the department went to glocks. One of the best pistols I have ever owned. That being said I have not carried it in years. It's just a brick. A very reliable great shooting brick.

Of course bond is rocking the VP9 now so I think that is reason enough to get one.

Holy shit, are you a cop? This is a very scary notion.

I broke the 600-round mark a week or two ago. I continue to be pleased with the PPQ. And it feeds fired cases when they're mixed in the magazine among live rounds.

The PPQ went away. It shifted in my hand too much during firing and I don't like putting tape on guns.

Then this happened.

A deal I couldn't pass up. And a V1 LEM Light Trigger, to boot.

350 rounds in and I'm in love. There were times that I was getting cloverleaf groups and I am not that good. No shifting in my hand during firing like the PPQ. The V1 LEM Light trigger is very light, but the travel is fairly long so I'm not as likely to torch one off unintentionally. The subtle rounded shape makes this big gun carry very well.

I guess I'm an HK fanboy again. The last HK that I owned was a USPc in .357 SIG way back in the late 90's.
