I’d noticed a little pressure in the rear diff last time I pulled the fill plug. The D1 breathers seem a little underengineered with that one tiny passage and no filter. The line was gummed up with 90wt sludge beyond the breather, too. Hard to get clear without shop air, but I managed to blast it out with a little portable tire inflator. Kind of made me miss the little jiggle valves on my Series…
