Looks just like my 11 year old looked when she was a puppy. Yes I *would* if said 11 year old, and her 9 year old 'brother' would tolerate a puppy around.

Do you know what breed s/he is? I've never known what mine is, but they are identical.

I am told she is a collie/retriever mix and should grow up to ~40 lbs

Here's a pic of mine (Nikita). Only difference I can see is Nikita has pointy ears (and I looked at her puppy pics, and she had them then too), and the one above has rounded ears.

Nikita is ~60 lbs, but who knows, each mix is different.

Are you a dog person, or is this a new venture for you?

The dog we already have [Kayla] is a shepherd mix with pointy ears - she is a mutt and she has been great and loyal dog (~3 yr old). I rescued her from a pound in Georgia - she was supposed to be euthanized on my b-day. She is ~40-45 lb and makes a great size not too big to knock people over but won't lose a fight to a squirrel or get lost in the snow. This other collie/retriever mix [Emma] would be a companion for her.

This is Joe Bear Approx 7yrs old, 95lbs, Joe Bear is a German Shepherd, and is a working dog. It would really be difficult without him, Joe Bear is ever protective of my two girls, residence, and my Land Rover. Oh, and the UPS, and Fed-x men wont even dare get out of there vehicles if im not around.
