Has anyone done this or heard of anyone doing this? If so what kind of issues will I run in to? I have the wiring and the ECU etc..
Thanks for any info.

are you talking swapping in the entire engine management system and all? Or just putting a bosch block in to replace yours? It would be cool, especially with a 4.6L, but from what I've learned, all the NAS stuff is kind of tied in with the auto tranny. Of course you could make your truck an auto, but that kind of kills some of the fun of a Defender.

Yes I have all of the necessary items. I am going to leave it a 5 speed.

Don't really know, it could be as simple as installing it all, then taking it to a place with Testbook / T4 and getting the ecm reconfigured for manual trans vs. auto. Then again, it could be a constant headache.

14cux is so simple. I think if you really wanted to keep the bosch style intake and distributorless setup then an aftermarket fuel injection management system would be a much better way of doing this

Thanks for the info. I decided to just buy a D-II with a blown motor and put it in it.
