Question about suspension spacers

Im considering adding 1" or 2" spacers to my disco. Ive got OME HD springs, but want it a little taller. Ive seen the Rovers North type that go between the axle and the lower spring seat, and the RTE type that I assume go between the spring itself and the spring seat. Which have y'all run and which do y'all prefer? Thanks

Ohh they all go under the perch. The Aluminum round ones look more better, but the Rovers North ones are half the price

Yea RN's spacers are only made in the 2" version but yea, they are with out a doubt the best price on 2".. but remember anything over 2" lift and you'll likely want some castor correction and double cardan drive shafts..

I might go for the Rovers North.. Ive got a rear Tom Woods, corrected radius arms and rear links..... What else do I need to correct the castor besides front DC driveshaft and rear A-arm extension?

Best Price and they cut them for you.

Marsh, go with this. Super easy to do. They'll cut them to whatever thickness your specify. I have a set of 3/4" and 9/16" from them. The only semi-tricky part is drilling the large hole in the front spacer for the shock to pass through. But I run eye-to-eye shocks and don't have to worry about that.

I have a pair of older style RTE 2" spacers laying around I could sell ya. You would have to buy two more spacers, since i'm still using the other two.

They don't go under the spring perch like the others, these replace the spring perch and the springs sit on the spacer. way better design than the others, I just looked on their website and didn't see this style anymore. Unless I missed it somewhere.

Why are they a way better design?

they replace the spring perches so you dont have a 2" piece of metal teeter tottering under the perch. all the pics I've seen of a 2" spacer under a spring perch look hokey.

I guess it's more of an opinion but I would call it a better design than pucks. At least if your using something as large as a 2" spacer.

The Columbia spacers are very, VERY nicely made.

I bought them to temporarily help use rear perches on the front of my DII, but I couldn't finish the work.

Cheers,

Yeah, there's nothing really teeter tottering with puck spacers. You bolt everything down with a couple grade 8 bolts and its tight.
