I heard on NPR radio news that the import tax on UK vehicles will be lifted. I realize I probably could Internet search that, but I prefer the feedback from here. If it is, I'm blasting a nasty brown 1983 D straight here. That ugly brown with the stripe on the side.

Get a previous use fire brigade 3 door Disco 200tdi from Italy or France or a good condition one that a civilian used that way it will be LHD and likely have no heinous issues with rust. Way more useful and relaxing than a 90 or 110 ever will be.

3 door Disco with a 200Tdi would be a fun truck...god knows finding one that isn't a rust bucket will be harder than even a 110/90 of the same vintage I'm guessing.

Just to reminisce.

My first Rover, a 3 door v8....

Loved it, even though I had to have the seat mounts rewelded every couple of months as the metal fatigued really easy and broke, a lot....

My dorky ass driving the "star trek" interior:
