Quicker ratio steering?

Curios if there are any options out there for improving the steering box ratio for the D2? It’s my main gripe with driving the rig. Takes a lot of wheel spinning to navigate tight turns despite the short wheel base

I don't see that as an improvement. Having a higher steering ratio is an advantage for low speed off-road driving. If you think turning the wheel of a D2 is hard, just try driving a Series I.

Piece of cake, make your own (longer) Pitman arm.
Honestly, I have never, ever, needed steering quicker, but - to each his/her/their own

Steering Ball ????
Or yeah custom longer pitman or steering box swap to what who knows maybe a D1 as I don't ever have that issue.

Get the ball and save thousands of dollars!

It’s not about ease of turns, it’s about number of revolutions lock to
Shorten the 29mm steering stops to 23mm to decrease turning radius by 1.5 meters.
i already did that. I’m asking because I also have a classic bronco. A common mod on them is to either modify the existing steering box or buy an aftermarket one to drop the lock to lock turns from 7 to 4…. less spinning the wheel to get to lock to lock… was hoping to do the same with the D2
