I have a 2000 range rover.
I need to replace the radiator.

Reading RAVE, it looks like I remove the 3 hoses, remove the clips at the top, 2 bolts at the bottom, and the radiator just pulls straight up and out.

Is it really this easy?

RAVE doesn't mention the shroud or the fan.
I went to Advance Auto and got the Ford Fan Clutch Set for $24.69 + tax.
It had the 36mm long thin wrench and a bigger thing that you could hold the flywheel bolts with; it took just a couple minutes to "crack" that, then i just used the 36mm wrench to remove the fan clutch assembly.
Leaving the fan resting against the inside of the radiator, i drained the radiator, removed the hoses and lifted the whole thing (rad, shroud & fan) out.

The new rad pretty much dropped right in.
Getting the nut started on the fan thing to replace it took almost 10 minutes, the single longest part of the job, except for getting rid of the air bubbles in the system.

I'm not even an amateur mechanic, but it was 2 hours, start to finish.

cool. :)
