Radio swap in the RRC?

I'm just looking for some info I tried the search option but no luck.
I picked up a head unit and that's all I want to swap
My 92 RRC has the factory sub and everything works great except the factory tape deck

Is there any info on here about changing the head unit some one told me I have to rewire the hole truck!
